UNPAF Youth Leadership Event

Eligible youth who meet the criteria below will have the opportunity to receive a sponsorship from the U.N. Peace Ambassador Foundation (UNPAF).

 

UNPAF Youth Leadership Program Criteria:

 

We are seeking exceptional youth who:

  1. Demonstrate a History of Leadership:
    Have actively led or participated in leadership roles within their school or community, showing initiative and responsibility.

  2. Exhibit a Passion for Peacebuilding:
    Have a deep interest in promoting peace, whether through social justice initiatives, community service, or advocacy for conflict resolution.

  3. Commit to Personal Growth:
    Are eager to develop and enhance their leadership skills, with a willingness to learn, adapt, and grow.

  4. Engage in Community Service:
    Have a track record of involvement in community service projects, demonstrating a commitment to making a positive impact in their local or global communities.

  5. Show Academic Dedication:
    Maintain a strong academic record, reflecting discipline, dedication, and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities.

  6. Possess a Vision for the Future:
    Have a clear vision or goals for how they wish to apply their leadership skills in the future, especially in the context of promoting peace and unity.

  7. Demonstrate Cultural Awareness:
    Show an understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures, and a desire to bridge gaps and build connections among different communities.

This sponsorship will support their participation in our Youth Leadership Program, providing them with the tools, resources, and mentorship needed to become effective leaders and ambassadors of peace. The program includes workshops, seminars, and hands-on experiences that will empower them to make a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.

      • Choosing peace and why it is important

      • The importance of having youth in peace advocacy

      • Public speaking

      • Advocacy through Social media

    • Something to take notes

Here they will network with parents or on their own. By attending this event, these young leaders will be part of a global network of like-minded individuals, all committed to fostering a more peaceful and just world.
